Last regular question of the week.
Today's category is music and here is the question:
What band's lead singer sang uncredited backing vocals on Carly Simon's song You're So Vain ?
Yesterday's answer was Romeo and Juliet.

Too bad I was clueless on the movie question, or I'd be working on a perfect week......

Not a clue. Eagles (Not that really had one "lead" singer so that is probably wrong). Whatever is left, 4 I think.

The Rolling Stones -- 6 points, unless I've already used that. Whatever my max is.

I think I've got a 4-pointer and 6-pointer remaining, and since I have no idea I will wager 4 pts.
Based on the time period, that back-up singer would have had to have been an adult in the early 1970s, and probably hadn't hit it big yet. Also, they were probably female. So I will go with...
Fleetwood Mac (the singer being Stevie Nicks)

It was originally only available as a single, then showed up on his "Greatest Hits, Vol 2", which I own on lp but cannot access at this time since it's boxed up post-flood in an area I can't get to at this time (piled up with other stuff we have not gotten through yet). It was included as a bonus track on his "Captain Fantastic" cd, which I have, but recording personnel is only listed for the songs from the original album and not for the bonus tracks.
The only thing I have found so far is from a couple of sites that say Dusty Springfield is a backup singer. I had not ever heard that, myself, so it's a new one on me. If I find anything else, I will let you know.
