Need some fashion advice...

Each year, I go to visit my fuzzywuzzy family for the Christmas holidays. However, we come home before New Year's.
We have made it our tradition to celebrate New Year's Eve all alone...Its our holiday.
This year we are going out for dinner and dancing for New Year's Eve... (did this last year, and we had a blast!)
Ok, I need some advice...
What color scheme should I wear?
A) Ruby
B) Bronze (wore this last year)
C) Aubergine

Ruby is a great holiday favorite.
The outfit is more important to me than the color, as your 3 choices are all great.

I vote aubergine. Sophisticated.

I'm no authority on fashion - far from it - but I understand that purple is "the new black" so I'd vote for the aubergine.

As long as you don't look like an eggplant in it.

Well, at least I prefer a snippy comment to fashion advice from YOU.
You didn't have to answer. I had no advice, so I STFU....

It was pointed out to me last week (by I believe LB and Marley) that the last choice in a "poll" should be that infamous Gastonia radio station.
I would hate for there to be a double standard here.
If I was to answer, then I would say that I am sure that MrFuzzy would love her in any color.

There was no double standard. There just wasn't a poll.....
If there was a poll, then I'd agree that WGAS in Gastonia MUST be included....

Well, I do not have "old-timer status", but my understanding is that when someone poses a question, the final choice is something referencing a Gastonia radio station with the call letters WGAS.
For example, I asked a question about homework last week. I forgot to note the Gastonia refrence, so LB added "My kids listen to WGAS while doing their homework."
Here, the humorous option might have been "just stay at home and listen to WGAS" (or something funnier).

For a new guy, he sure moved up fast.

There was no WGAS option on the pie question and you managed to answer THAT fairly nicely. Some people actually value our opinions. Imagine that...

Hmm, didn't really read the Thanksgiving one as a "poll" (pick one), so I merely mentioned what pies that my family likes to eat.
Either way, unless Fuzzy is upset, I am ending this "scuffle" before that dead horse avatar is used again.

Kick the rest of the family out of the house and the two of you stay home. That way, you only need your birthday suit to ring in the new year.

Birthday suits are more comfortable than anything else I can think of. And I know this from experience...

Yeah, I would go with Ruby as a nice holiday color. Any chance FWH would add some nice rubies to go with the dress? Say, a nice pair of earrings?

Obviously a woman question, because men know that 'ruby' and 'bronze' and 'aubergine' are not colors, they are a piece of rock, a piece of metal and a plant.
Men knowo that there are only eight colors, and you can find all of them in the smallest crayola crayon box: red, blue, green, yellow, purple, black, brown and orange.
That is all.

Wait! There was "flesh" at one time. Of course maybe I was privileged and had the 64 COUNT box. Wasn't that the most fun, getting those for Easter or Christmas?
Also, depending on your coloring Fuzz, I'm liking a bronze, maybe with aubergine accents and some ruby thrown in. All of those colors work together in varying hues. Show us pics.
Just noticed you wore bronze last year. Get an auberginey base with ruby and bronze things in it.

The critical word in my original statement was "only". You wanna add some covering, that's up to you.
Lingerie: an article of clothing which is put on with the sole intention of taking it off.
