My Kinda Nights in Rodanthe!

A vacation only a carp could love.
This may be repeated this weekend. Another storm may overwash Highway 12 again on Saturday. Steve got stuck for a few hours on Sunday, but made it home 2 1/2 hours late.
Serendipity was chosen to be The Inn at Rodanthe because it's the first house after the wildlife refuge, so it could look isolated if you shot it from the south. I was amazed to see it standing every year because it is regularly accessible only by boat. Caramore was not so lucky this time.
Our house is on the South Beach section, which was unaffected. There's a decent shot of the difference between the north and south beachfronts in the slideshow.
