Before this year, when was the last year in which both World Series teams were division champions (neither was a wild card)?

2001? I know the Yankees won their division and I think Arizona did as well.

Here's one that may be a little tougher. The team that employed Cal Ripken and Boog Powell was not the first MLB team known as the Baltimore Orioles. That first Baltimore Oriole franchise is still a major league team. Who are they now? --Bob

The current Baltimore Orioles lasted one season in their first home. Ironically the city and team name is again in major league baseball. What was the name of this team?

I just read a book about the Orioles. I believe it was the
St. Louis Browns
