The official opening of the Quadrennial Bored Presidential Prophesy Contest at or about Noon, October 21.
Full rules will be posted then, but, just to whet your competitive juices:
Pick who wins the presidential election.
Pick the states the winner carries. For every state you pick the winner carries, you get 1 point. For every state you pick the winner doesn't carry, you lose 2 points. Every state the winner carries that you don't pick, you lose 1 point.
BUT...up to 5 states will be designated DAILY DOUBLE states, where the point values (both ways) double.
BUT THERE'S MORE! There's a 3-point bonus for posting your entry before Noon, October 28.
No talent competition, no swimsuits. And believe me, I was tempted to include them.
Vaulable prize. 4 years of bragging rights. What could be better?
