The scores up to now are in bold. Make your wager according to your point total. Today's question is a bonus question. You may wager anywhere from 2 to 20 points in even number increments. If you get the answer right, you will get the point total you wagered. If you answer incorrectly you will lose half of the points you wagered. There can be as much as a 30 point swing on this question. Here is the geography question:
In what country will you find the world's longest fence.
Good luck.
Yesterdays answer is Canola oil. Here is the opening paragraph from wiki:
Canola is a type of edible oil derived from plants initially bred in Canada by Keith Downey and Baldur Stefansson in the 1970s. The oil is extracted from a group of cultivars of rapeseed variants from which low erucic acid rapeseed oil and low glucosinolate meal are obtained. The word "canola" was derived from "Canadian oil, low acid" in 1978. The oil is also known as "LEAR" oil (for Low Erucic Acid Rapeseed).

In what country will you find the world's longest fence.
I think you would be hard-pressed to argue that the Great Wall of China is not a fence (you didn't say wooden fence - and we used stone fences were I grew up) - unless you mean someone who sells stolen goods on the black market - so I'm going all in at 20 pts with
CHINA

If I have any chance to win, I have to wager 20 points.
In what country will you find the world's longest fence. -- I'll take a semi-logical guess on
China
. (
The Great Wall
might just qualify...)

My aunt, rest her soul, loved the phrase "Faint heart never won fair maiden." So I'm gonna go for broke for all 20 points, think it's probably that "Rabbit-Proof Fence" in the Ken Brannaugh movie that was in AUSTRALIA.

Go for Broke! 20 pt wager
Australia
I saw "Rabbit-Proof Fence", and I hope that helped me answer the question properly.

Wagering 16, if I read the scores right. One of the rabbit proof fences in Western Australia runs down the continent, so I will say Australia.

For 20 points, I believe the answer is Australia. Those Aussies seem very picky about what four-footers go where.

The answer to the final question is Australia. It is the Dingo Fence. The Great Wall of China is a "wall" and not a fence.
Here is the wiki page:

Scoring for the weekday QOD will show up shortly.
