I guess it's like Hello Kitty--an acquired taste!

(I love it. Not surprisingly. I have no taste.)

Are you criticizing Napoleon Dynamite!?

The movie is a fantastic tribute to all of us bumbling social misfits, who are just trying to make our way in this world dominated by demographically desirable, high-personality What Elses.

He drug an action figure behind the bus with a string!

:P

Actually, the main reason I'm watching this -- OK, I'm not watching it, I'm posting here and just have it on -- is because a local candidate is running partly on a Vote for Pedro! slogan. We're now 39 minutes into this deal, when do I get to start cheering for Pedro?

I had Chinese about two hours ago. It's probably bad luck to mix them.

I gotta tell you, Marley, I'm not watching now. If somebody tied me to a chair and made me actually watch the movie, I'd be crazy by now.

Hey! Don't say it! I'm not crazy now! I AM NOT! NOT!

Same here! Cool!

(The "dang quesadilla" is in the movie. I wasn't going to tell you to "Come get your dinner, you fat lard!" The movie has a llama in it!)

We love the movie.

Did you know that Napoleon Dynamite is a pseudonym that Elvis Costello sometimes used?

So you didn't watch to the end, Sprots?

I'm sorry that you didn't trust my recommendation. :(

So THAT's where that slogan came from?

Yes.

So you haven't seen the movie, either?

Watch it.

Trust me.

You'll thank me later.

I don't watch movies anymore. I think the last time I willingly watched a movie was about 5 years ago when I happened across The Clone Wars while flipping through the cable channels, and I only stopped to watch it because I'd seen the previous 4 Star Wars movies. I have still never seen Episode Three...

And I have still never seen Monty Python & the Holy Grail..... and it used to practically be a requirement for being on the Bored..... :P :P

Well-
we now know that Sprots and Pea are like Summer from the movie. They are just to cool for those of us who identify with Napoleon. (I always suspected they were hot0but this just confirms it.)

I love how they get steak in the movie.

It's about time that I get some credit around here!

I'm still waiting for a check from the producers of that "film".

BTW, I painted the album cover.
