I would like to see a Music Week edition. They've done both TV and Movie week and they haven't even covered music. I tried auditioning for Movie Week but I failed both the movie and regular test. My father passed both and he ended up being selected for the regular shows. His episode will air in January.

Me and my father auditioned back in June at ABC studios in New York. He was originally scheduled to be on the show in July but he got bumped to September. His tape date was originally Sept 4th, he never made it into the hotseat. Its good thing he didn't get on the show on the 4th because those episodes will be airing in June. His new tape date was September 24th. He ended up being the second contestant on the show. He did a good job on the show. Although I will tell you this he almost won nothing.

I had an idea, an idea where contestants were judged not the contents of their birth certificates, but by the creativity of their costumes, not by the sob story of their lives but by their enthusiasm for the game.....
sigh!!!!!!

Here are some theme week ideas that I think would be good-even though TPTB might not agree with me.
Remember the 80's Week-they did the 90's several years ago.
Teen Week-J! has a whole tournament for teens, and it's very popular.
Senior Citizen Week-ask questions that seniors could answer.
Armed Foreces Week-honoring our troops (they could tape this to air around Veterans Day, which is conveniently in November, which is a sweeps month)
Please, no more Wedding Weeks. Sometimes, 2 heads are not better than one in the hot seat.

Phone Game Week.
WWTBAM Play It! Week.
Death Match Mud Wrestling Week.
Anything Else One Can Think Of That Lets Potential Contestants Compete For A Turn In The Hot Seat Without Submitting To The Whims Of A Producer Week.

Congrats to your dad! I noticed that you are from Marlboro, NJ. I used to live in Manalapan/Englishtown and graduated from Manalapan High School (a long time ago). Welcome to the bored!

Do you happen to know what day in July your dad was schedled for. I know that they rescheduled folks from my day on the 25th to Sept, and I was wondering if I would have met him in the green room. I ended up meeting most folks who were sceduled for the 24th, 25th and 28th.
Congrats and looking forward to seeing the episode... let me know if need any countdown lines

For $25,000, Where did you put your car keys?
A: On the kitchen table
B: In your pocket, duh?
C: Wherever your dentures are
D: You know, in that spot where you put 'em 'cuz you KNEW that you'd never forget 'em if you put 'em THERE...wherever the hell THAT was.
For the record, I'd need a lifeline 95% of the time with this question.

Seriously, Kazoo, what kind of questions do you envision as being appropriate for senior citizens that wouldn't be asked on the regular shows? Could you give a couple of examples?

I believe he was originally scheduled for July 25th, but a producer from the show called him just two days before his scheduled tape date to tell him that he got bumped. I'm definitely going to audition again next year.

While you're at it, could you also define "Senior Citizen?" Thanks!
