Never heard this football phrase before

I was watching a local TV station last night that was televising a local college football game--University of Mary vs Northern State. Game went into overtime and Northern kicked a field goal. Univ of Mary picked up a first down and then scored a touchdown on a draw play. The play was set up great as the runner ran into the end zone "untouched".
So the announcer says "Mary wins with a walk off touchdown"
WTF is a walk off touchdown?

Everybody knows it is a "runoff touchdown".

It's just like a walk off home run, except everyone is "walking off" of the football field afterwards.

Almost as bad as losing to the Eagles of Avila University.
