I don't believe it either, but I caught the end of the game. They scored 4 in the seventh, 3 in the eighth, and won it in the ninth.

Back in 1986, I came home and asked my housemate if she'd caught the end of that night's World Series game. She said no, but she knew that the Red Sox had won. I smiled and asked her whether she'd turned the game off with two out in the tenth inning. She said yes and started to ask me how I'd known that when she worked it out. It was fun to see the light dawn. --Bob
