I misled someone yesterday

And I am feeling bad about it.
I met a nice person in line yesterday and was telling her about us. But I think I wrote the wrong address down for her.
I thought she said he email address was on aol. But I tried to email her but it bounced back.
Are aol emails a dot com or something else?

It's whatever @ aol.com (edited to add spaces on either side of the @, because there probably is some poor soul who calls himself "whatever."

Bummer then. That is what I tried.
I didn't add the bored part to the address I gave her.

Try the Instant Messenger mail domain, @aim.com.

She may have given you an incorrect address. I frequently get e-mail at my account meant for people with a similar name, after those people forget that
their AOL address includes some number after the name.
I'll admit that, from time to time, some interesting stuff ends up in my inbox!

If you want to PM me the address you have, I can try to do a "membership" look-up on AOL. That doesn't always work, but sometimes I can find similar names. I'm reasonably good at this because I seem to get e-mails sent to every woman in American with whom I share a name (and there are lots of us!)

LOL!
I meant to say, of course, that actann exists within the time-space continuum and the nexus of electrons that comprises the corporate entity once known as America On-Line.

I got a second rejected email SC.
Do you think that there is a way to contact her? I told her the key thing about me on the message board was my 11:11.
I think she knew my first name.
What do you think?

I think you are worrying too much. If you have her an incorrect link. She probably has more than enough to google it and find it.
You didn't deliberatly mislead her. You've done all you can do for now.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I went out to dinner and just got home.
I can try sending an e-mail from within the AOL system. If she's no longer an AOL subscriber, that should become apparent, although that seems highly unlikely since Wednesday. If her mail box is completely full, no more messages will be accepted. That could mean she's been completely away from her computer for a while, perhaps due to some problem with the computer itself, or because of an emergency in her family. If she comes on-line with the screen name you gave me, I will "see" her. (Some people have more than one screen name, or so I have heard.) Let's give it a couple of days.
Did you say where she lives? Do you know her last name? If all else fails, maybe we could find her through a directory search.

Trip is great - perfect weather & nice flight. I am just worn out. Got up at 5AM and it is late according to my body time but still early here in CA.
I came to the room for a hot bath and to turn in early.

Just like 'The Voice' says.... Massapequa - I think that is how you spell it. She said Massapequa Heights Long Island
But maybe like Kay says, I'll only worry a little bit more and then move along.
But thanks for keeping an eye out for her SC.

She's from my husband's neck of the woods! Only it's a real big neck...
Everytime I see the word "misled" my brain defaults to "mizzled" first. I don't know how to "mizzle" anyone...

You're showing your age...I first heard "mizzle" on a "One Day at a Time" episode.

Yeah, but I never watched that show. I wasn't much for TV as a kid. But I remember reading a Trixie Belden book as a kid (something with "Eye" in the title), and there was a line in a fortune about "Be not misled by evening's fun; a villain's work is never done" and it threw me for such a long time trying to figure that one out.
Now I'll have to go in my dad's attic and try to find that stupid book. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!!!
The Mystery of the Blinking Eye?....Google time!....
