If the meteorologists are to be believed, yesterday was the last day of Indian summer. Temperatures that have been in the 80s will give way to highs in the 60s and overnight lows in the low 50s or upper 40s. That should produce a good leaf turning in about two weeks or so.

I think the Corps of Engineers has finally discovered technology - I've been bombarded by requests for data from the various automated systems that I can reach out and touch, things that in the past weren't asked about but now can be because the systems track such things.
