The head of McCain's transition team

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Tue Oct 14, 2008 2:12 pm

According to this post, the head of McCain's presidential transition team "aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime."

Is this accurate? If so, is there more to the story that didn't make it into the post? --Bob

McCain doesn't have to worry about a transition team.

If Mr. McCain invokes the name of William Ayers tonight, then I hope that Mr. Obama immediately responds by invoking the name of William Timmons. I care about McCain's candor and truthfulness about his relationship with Mr. Timmons. We need to know the full extent of his relationship with Mr. Timmons.

We need to know... "Who is John McCain?"

And that, my friends, could be the final nail in the coffin of the McCain presidential campaign.
