According to this post, the head of McCain's presidential transition team "aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime."

If Mr. McCain invokes the name of William Ayers tonight, then I hope that Mr. Obama immediately responds by invoking the name of William Timmons. I care about McCain's candor and truthfulness about his relationship with Mr. Timmons. We need to know the full extent of his relationship with Mr. Timmons.
