What will the TV stations run once the election is over? The car companies trying to dump their bigass SUVs can't buy up all that unused ad space.

People still drink beer, I guess (I mostly watch sports), and the local stations will plug their "investigative" reporting on whatever they think will get you to watch their newscast...

You guys at least have a fair chance of getting a winner.

We may get no winner and a resurgence in the strength of Quebec separatism.

The big loser according to polls is Stephen Harper's Quebec strategy, going for the small towns and suburban areas far away from Montreal with a nod to the "soft nationalists" and an assumption that those small towns could be wooed by right-wing social programs, just as elsewhere. For a lot of reasons, did not work. The Bloc Québécois, nominally separatist at least, could win every single seat off the island of Montreal. Only three weeks ago, the pundits had been predicting the Bloc's complete demise.

I think we will basically end up with what we already have - a Conservative minority government. The only good thing that will come out of this is the Green Party will make inroads and finally the Liberals can get back to what they should have done and elect a leader that people could understand and would actually win an election. Just my opinion, of course.
