Figuratively, not literally, that is.

With the Dow Jones up almost 1,000 points today, there is resurgent hope for McCain. After all, if he can be blamed for the decline last week, why can't he be credited with the rise today? Oh, I see. It doesn't work that way, eh?

What seems really odd to me is that you would think that with all the crap being laid at McCain's feet, Obama would be up by 20 points! Yet, Rasmussen Poll has him up by only 5. This tells me that there's an awful lot of people not buying the Messiah message being put out on his behalf.

This has got to be the strangest election I have ever witnessed.

I got an E-mail today blaming EVERYTHING going or gone wrong in the country on the U.S. Congress of the past two years.

I woulda put MrKelley on it, but even I could debunk about half of it, so I just laughed and deleted it.

Wow, I saw an editorial in our KC paper today that blamed it all on Clinton.

But I still think McCain will win.

The Fannie / Freddie fiasco started in the Clinton administration. But, it wasn't stopped by Bush. I would
think that is an abuse of power much like the media is saying about Palin and Troopergate. Seems to me that
if you see something wrong happening don't you have an obligation to step in if you can? I would think so.
Bush, Paulsen, Cox, Frank, Dodd - none of them did anything to stop it. Frank and Dodd should be
removed from their seats and put in jail. So should Cox. Some goes for all those crooks who ran AIG, Bear
Stearns and Lehman Bros. They should have all their assets frozen and go under investigation just like the
guys at Enron did.

Yeah, but Enron eventually got off the hook too. It was the employees who invested their retirements in Enron who got left holding the (empty) bag.

And while the Freddie/Fannie deregulation occurred on Clinton's watch, it was passed by a veto-proof majority in a Republican-controlled Congress.
