Fort Worth is nice. I'm always amazed at news reports depicting the chaos that regularly occur at Dallas city council meetings and at Dallas school board meetings. I will never live in Dallas.

Or worse yet, New Jersey.

And more
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Jones indefinitely without pay and will determine the length of suspension following the Nov. 16 game at Washington.

According to the league's release, "The decision on whether Jones can return to play will be based on Jones' strict compliance with his NFL and Dallas Cowboys treatment plans as well as on evaluations of Jones' progress that will be provided to Commissioner Goodell by clinical experts retained by the NFL."

Since the thread is about Romo's pinkie, I guess this is on topic. There is a story in today's USA today about a college football player who broke his pinkie bad enough this weekend to require surgery to put some pins in to hold the finger together. When they told him the surgery would end his football year (and effectively his career since he is a senior), he insisted that they amputate the finger instead. After much debate, that is what the doctors did. In a strange twist, his head coach lost part of his pinkie in a shop accident in high school and will be able to offer advice on how to deal with the injury.
