Seattle beat Tampa in week 1 to gain the tiebreaker, so as crappy as they have played, they are still the 3 seed. NY and Detroit play this Sunday. Dallas and Green Bay play in a few weeks (some network exec is drooling thinking about it).

Indy has fallen behind Pittsburgh, but Pittsburgh gets to los...I mean play New England in a few weeks. San Diego should get as much grief as Seattle does for playing in a weak division. AFC South is strong in getting in 3 teams as Vince Young makes his playoff debut. That Dallas Monday Night game is haunting Buffalo now. I still say more than 2 seconds should have run off the clock on the onside kick.

Right now the game is schedueld as NFL Network - the others can drool all they want. It will be interesting to see if the cable companies and the NFL network get more heat to figure out carriage as this game approaches

I would think that the networks would be exercising whatever leverage they have to get this game on regular TV (probably a FOX game since it's NFC) rather than on the NFL Network (which our local cable company doesn't carry).

Are you serious? Is there even still a team in Buffalo? I thought we had already run their record down enough to have them shipped to LA per the Commish's mandate....

If the playoffs began today, the teams that just played Sunday would be pretty darn tired.

If the Dallas-Green Bay game stays on NFL Network I'm sure it will also be on local TV in those markets, but in the rest of the country maybe eight people will get to see two of the top teams in the league. The business of pro sports these days is unbelievable.

Add that to the last second loss to the Broncos and double my stomach ache. Even with the decimating injuries and lackluster offense, we could be 7-2 right now.

Can't blame the Broncos on us. We wanted to make sure that we had our battle of the unbeatens when the Cowboys played the Pats. You would be 6-3, since there is no way we would have let you guys cut into our bottom line. Vince McMahon is jealous of how we do it.

Not just Dallas-Green Bay but the season finale of New England/NY Giants. If New England runs the table going into that game, the interest in seeing them go for an unbeaten season in a very hostile environment against a very good team will be tremendous.

The NFL wants there to be outrage about not being able to see those games. I'll get to see the Cowboys-Packers because it will be shown on a local station.

THe NFL wants the fan base to get riled up enough to demand that their cable systems add the NFL Network.

It's interesting how the NFL has made the cable companies the bad guys.

Same top 6 as last time and in the same order. An army of (5-6) teams are behind Detroit and if Philly can somehow pull off the sports miracle of this decade and defeat New England then they would be 6 due to a 56-21 win over Detroit. I don't think that is gonna happen so that is why I am posting this now. I have the NFL Network so I will be able to see the battle for NFC homefield on Thursday.

Tonight's game and Monday Night's will have no bearing on the standings, so I can post this now. A 3 game losing streak knocks the Titans out and the streaking Browns in. Can any of these teams beat New England in Foxboro in January?

Tonight's game may have no bearing on the standings, but the Eagles are sure giving the Patriots a run for their money right now.

This game may be worth watching after all.

I was not enthused about this season because it seemed inevitable that the Patriots would win it all, but after last night's game maybe there is a slight glimmer of hope after all.

On an unrelated note, I am starting to suspect Eli Manning was adopted.
