name a tropical storm and possibly a hurricane Nana?

That is simply...I don't know what the right word is. Cruel is not it. Stupid or silly is not it.

But it just doesn't seem right to name something that could potentially kill hundreds or thousands, Nana.

Or is it just me?

I thought this year's "N" was Norbert. Or is that a Pacific storm?

I called my paternal grandmother Nana, and I was probably closer to her during my youth than anybody else. But Nana is a real name, of Indian origin I believe (although if you saw my WWTBAM appearance, you will know that I have a problem with things of Indian origin). And there was an actress on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine named Nana.
