If Kay were here, I would tell her that I got the Fisher-Price activity table yesterday. I can't wait to give it to Isabella.

It's pretty cute. I haven't taken it out of the box and put the batteries in, because I don't want Annie and Lizbit playing with it in the middle of the night. Lizbit is learning "touch it," which is supposed to translate into playing a toy piano, in her tricks class. She would love to touch the little table.

The guests said they loved it. I was disappointed and even looked
back at the recipe to make sure I wasn't supposed to bake it covered. I wasn't
happy with the bread, either. I think I needed a denser bread. The top ended up
sort of crusty and the middle was too soft for my liking.

I made Paula Deen's recipe for baked French toast for my guests this weekend.
