RIP Stephen Lachendro

Killed in a hot-air balloon accident at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. His gondola crashed into power lines

Stephen's Mom and my Mom are neighbors and good friends. We're all thinking back to the wonderful hot-air balloon ride we took for Mom's 60th birthday (24 years ago now
) and how much we enjoyed it. Mom says she's taking comfort in the idea that Stephen was already halfway to Heaven when he died.
