Dear Supporter,

Our campaign wants you to view this web video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwZKNnakgOo

We're asking you to take a few minutes this evening to view this and think about our future.
After watching the video, please forward it to at least five others. It's up to us to hold Senator Obama accountable for his questionable judgment and blind ambition.

Thank you,
The McCain-Palin 2008 Team

Tell me this really didn't come from the actual McCain people.

It is outrageous!

Seriously!

I suspect this e-mail is a hoax. I get e-mails from campaigns on both tickets, but I have not received anything similar to this. I have even looked through e-mails in my "delete" group for the past week to be sure that I didn't miss something.

As a computer expert, you may be able to look through the internet header information to figure out where it really did originate.

One can't be the best at everything.

Bob is only able to research smears of Obama.

Nope, this came from someone I know who is a McCain supporter. I have no way of knowing whether or not it actually originated from McCain's campaign staff, but this is being sent around by McCain's supporters.

You'd have to find out from YouTube where it actually came from.

Why should I waste my time to try find out? I've already concluded that it's BS. Nutcases exist on both ends of the political spectrum.

Who knows? Maybe this deal is a combination of both, with some ignorant yahoo posting a video on YouTube, which then was found by another ignorant yahoo, who thought it would be a good idea to pretend that the McCain campaign was behind it. Both would be equally repugnant to me.

Then you have no business labeling it a "McCain" smear tactic. Do you believe all of your penis enhancement spam, too?

Jesus Christ, Bob.

Is it news to you that certain McCain supporters are idiots and scoundrels both? Do you think that's not true of certain Obama supporters? Do you think there's a chance in hell anyone actually associated with McCain would have approved of this? Assuming they'd be morally bankrupt enough to think this is ok (which assumption I don't believe, for the record), do you think they're DUMB enough to think it would do their candidate one whit of good? As inept as Schmidt seems at times (there are times I think he could have worked on the Kerry campaign), he's not that stupid.
