No, not Tina Fey as Palin. Palin.

I wouldn't have posted it but couldn't resist because the opening graphic to the story shows Palin phoning a friend, complete with Millionaire-style ABCD choices.

Since the graphic makes this an on-topic post, I can laugh without giving up my seat in the Moratorium Lounge!

That's what I thought too, except I gave up my seat in the ML long ago.
I'm not risking the wrath of Christie and the possibility of losing out on some of that yummy Greek food when the election's over.

Sweetie, Broncos fans are always allowed in as long as the don't discuss politics in the Lounge itself.
Would you like an Orange Crush?

Oh. Well, in that case, yes I would. Thank you.

I dunno how SNL does it. I haven't watched it for 20 years, except for a few minutes here or there, and i'm not the only one.
Every now and then, just when I think it's going to perish under it's own weight, somebody comes up with a whole new cast member or schtick that totally reenergizes the show and the ratings.
Good for Tina Fey, and I hope she doesn't have to leave the planet. She said she would if McCain-Palin got elected, because she couldn't stand to do the accent for four years.
I saw a couple minutes of the show last Saturday, when the Palin-Clinton sketch was playing. Some reviewer remarked that the Clinton performer didn't do nearly as well as Fey. I thought she was spot on, but I have to admit, her performance suffers by comparison. Fey is simply great.

I now have SNL on 'season pass'.
Who'd a thunk I would ever do that?

The Palin bit was funny, but the rest of SNL just served to remind me why I don't watch it much anymore. It's just not as funny as it used to be. I switched over to Young Frankenstein. Gene Wilder and Cloris Leachman, now that's funny.

Jeff and Maddie are watching Young Frankenstein, but SNL hasn't come on yet.

She rocked, though she rocked harder in the second segment (the Poehler rap) than in the opening. But the opening wasn't bad either.

I agree. Funny stuff. Nice to see her sense of humor. Still won't vote for them though.

I wanted Baldwin to stop reading the cue cards.
