You know, that sounds like either silverscreen or silvercam or both have something going on I did to myself which I DID NOT DO

The "subsilver2" command sounded like a somewhat obscene expression involving silvers (except only to those not as pure of heart as you)

Open the User Control Panel
Go to Bored, er....BOARD Preferences
Change "prosilver" to "subsilver."
That will put your avatar back on the left, as God & Mother Nature intended
ETA: Yeah, that ampersand is
ugly!

What's scary is that when I write it in, it looks normal. But when it gets written back to

And I'm checked-off in my preferences as "American English". Howsabout "American Ampersands"!
