Square toe, round toe, pointed toe...lots of choices before I can help you out. Narrow it down and we'll start looking.silvercamaro wrote:I need new shoes. You guys can help.
I want something navy blue, flats, that I can wear with jeans instead of sneakers when I want to pretend I'm dressing up a tiny bit, rather than looking like I'm preparing to mow the lawn.
I hope it's OU. The Texas fans are difficult to live with in the years that the Longhorns win. (Sooner fans are always exceptionally gracious in victory, of course.kayrharris wrote:Who will win - OU or Texas? All the experts are predicting a high scoring game.
How about something between round and sharply pointed? Ovalish, maybe? I would prefer something that comes up higher on the foot than a simple "ballet slipper" style. Either leather or suede would work. (I don't like "man-made leather products.")kayrharris wrote:

That's not bad, although it still seems a bit close to providing potential toe cleavage. More importantly, you've given me a whole new shoe site to wander through. I didn't know DSW had an on-line shopping site.kayrharris wrote:

Yes, the 24th is a Friday, and I'll be in town that weekend. Anything in particular you want to do in Tulsa (besides playing with the beautiful Isabella, of course!)?silvercamaro wrote:Hermillion, I talked to #1 son tonight. I think I'm headed to T-town on Oct. 24 (assuming that's a Friday.) I have to come back in time to rescue the dogs from the kennel before they close on Saturday evening. Any chance you'll be close to home that weekend?

Why is it I thought you just had a family reunion? Maybe this is the other side of the family?mellytu74 wrote:This just doesn't seem right somehow.![]()
We are watching the Phillies game. Saturday AM I am driving to the shore and staying over. Sunday, TLAF and I will drive up for the family reunion. Boonie is staying home to make the four-bean salad. He will make deviled eggs on Sunday morning.
Then, after the reunion, Boonie will drive to the shore. We drive up Monday morning and Boonie will drop me off at work.
