Dad update

#1 Post by AlphaDummy » Wed Oct 08, 2008 5:53 pm

Good news (if anything about a heart attack can be considered "good").

Doc told him that on a scale where a Massive Heart Attack is scored as a 50, he had a 4. He is looking pretty darn good, all things considered, and he should be able to go home tomorrow.

From the bottom of my heart, thanks to all of you for your thoughts, prayers, good vibes, appendage-crossing, and anything else. It could have been a lot worse </understatement>, and for that our family is very grateful.

Once again, thank you.

Good news - sounds similar to an episode my dad about 2 years ago - he is in better shape now than he has been in 25 years.

Once you get past the idea you've had a heart attack (trust me) this is exactly what you want to hear--glad the news is this good.
