Spoiler
I just finished watching this show. It almost sounded like her husband said "beef" right before the buzzer sounded. I guess he could have been saying "wheat" too.

Nope, his parting words were...
"I don't know honey, I'm s-"

Forget google, he didn't even have a dictionary handy??? <sigh>

I wonder why Nikki didn't ask the expert after her husband couldn't help? They must have some healthy, vegetarian birds in San Francisco--wheat germ?

Probably asking about Miley's original name, Destiny Hope Cyrus. The official change was all over the entertainment news when it happened.

Of course, I don't see the show. Does the clock come into play and she was rushing to decide what to do? Meredith used to remind contestants that they had lifelines to use.

Too bad someone doesn't stock the bird (and squirrel) feed like I do......

OK, I honestly had no idea what's actually in those suet cakes, but I could easily reason it out from the choices....

It might have affected her decision of what lifeline to use. Even though Meredith had reminded her of the ATE before the question was asked, Niki might have forgotten about that after the PAF call. Meredith did not remind her again, before restarting the clock.

Niki and Scott could also have benefitted from some practicing of the PAF call. I'm not sure if he was trying to google or not, but he asked for the choices again, just before time ran out, and Niki abbreviated choice B to "beef" instead of "fat", which was the wrong part of the clue to emphasize.

Considering I save the trimmings and make seed/suet feed blocks for the birds, I wish I had this Q.
