Comment on today's Ask the Expert

It was comedian Jay Thomas. He was very, VERY impressive. He gave the correct answer fairly quickly and explained why he didn't believe at least one of the other answers was right. This was the first celebrity expert without some specific specialty and he acquitted himself very well.

Don't overlook experts from Charlotte.....

I suppose so, but one thing I didn't like was this exchange:
Contestant: How sure are you?
Jay: I’ve watched a lot of Indian movies.
I mean, excuse me. How much of an expert do you want me to be?
Yes he was right, but c'mon! He could've given a sense of his confidence level. A percentage, a qualifier like "pretty sure" or "quite sure", anything to help give his answer the appropriate weight.

Considering the history of the "Geronimo" shouting tradition, any attempt at applying logic was likely to be misleading. And Jay Thomas was 100% wrong when he said Geronimo was still alive during WWI.
From Wikipedia:
The 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment's motto and slogan was named after him. In 1940, the night before their first mass jump, U.S. paratroopers at Fort Benning watched the film Geronimo (1939 film), in which the actor playing Geronimo yells his name as he leaps from a high cliff into a river, depicting a real-life escape Geronimo successfully attempted in which he jumped off Medicine Bluff at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, into the Medicine Creek with his Cadillac horse. Private Aubrey Eberhardt announced he would shout the name when he jumped from the airplane to prove he was not scared. The trend has since caught on elsewhere, becoming widely associated with any sort of high jump in popular culture. This unit was the first parachute battalion of the U.S. Army.[12][13]
