Paychex stinks

My payroll company. Also GW's. We just found out about the latter, because they did the same stoopid thing with her 401(k) withdrawals that they did with mine.
She got a better explanation, though. Last year, her company was with another payroll company which has everyone in a relational database. The system automatically saw that she was over 50, and just continued taking the money out for the extra $5K. No problems. They switched to Paychex this year because it was cheaper. With Paychex, there is no database, so they have to look up ages of participants individually in order to get the extra money taken out. It's unclear which "they" is involved, the Paychex folks or GW's company HR folks. Either way, it's highly annoying and disruptive to our budget.
