So, I was watching today's episode here in my market, which aired at 4 this morning. (Thanks, TiVo!)

There was a familiar face on America's Team, asking a question in the Final Round about Geography:

"Hi, I'm Dan Avila from Los Angeles, CA. My question is, what is the largest island in the Mediterranean?"
Spoiler
The contestant knew it was Sicily. He knew the answers to all the other questions in the Final Round, too, and easily walked away with over $13,000, so Uly got zippo for his efforts.

Interestingly, I had been wondering what would happen if a contestant had the game wrapped up before the last question was asked in the Final Round, and that happened today. Turns out, he was given the opportunity to go Double or Nothing on the last question. Since he had $13,300 going into the last question (to America's Team's $2500 or so), he could have won $26,600 if he'd gone for it....but he chickened out. And naturally, he'd have gotten the answer right.

So....yeah, the show as a whole isn't the best in the world, but I'm not ashamed to say I'll pretty much watch anything with trivia....

I feel exactly the same way. TiVo allows me to watch each episode in about 15 minutes.

WTG Uly for appearing! I haven't looked up when it is in NY until now I thought it was Ch. 5 (FOX) but there is a 2PM listing for Ch.9.

It sounds like Uly was like the Mob on 1 v. 100 with the One walking away with the $$$.

Uly's question was more difficult than the average Q on this show, I wonder if they would reject Q's that they feel are "stumpers"?
