I'm guessing just when they're on? What does he do?

He's thinking about how to catch the blades. When I turn off the fan, he gets confused.

The cats have disappeared.

Hey, Zapster. Whine a little bit, as if you were frightened by that big old mean ceiling fan, and maybe your mom will be concerned enough to give you a treat.

Moms are really good for stuff like that.

P.S. Welcome HOME!

He got treats downstairs, but since he is upstairs I muzzled him.

He can jump on Emma's bed by himself.

A new little brother who's much bigger than he is--and he wasn't even consulted on the matter!

Just curious PSM of where and how you got the name "Zap".

Did you and Jeff Zip to Zap in 1969? :D

Zap is where my mother grew up.

Jasper's job is to not appreciate another guy who is not only bigger but also an h-o-u-n-d.

Still, if my late Sammycat could learn to love Rusty, Jasper may decide to put up with Zap as soon as he finds out that the dog has a comfy place to nap. (I would have bet $1,000 that Sammy could never NOT be afraid of a big dog.)

You haven't been following the developing story, kusch!

Zap (and all the other dogs who were under consideration) already had names at the rescue center. PSM said she's keeping it because Zap already knows that's his name.

Here's Chapman's latest toy. He really likes it.

English and Spanish options (his dad is fluent in Spanish). Teaches letters, numbers, colors, shapes, opposites, first words, greetings, cause and effects, etc.

What more could I ask for for $40?? Did I mention he's crawling and climbing and into everything?

His racing name is Irene's Zap. His mother is named Irene. (I got a copy of his pedigree today.) At Hemopet they shortened it from Irene's Zap to Zap. His sister is Zip and his brother is Case.

Sounds like they used the Sarah Palin Baby Name Generator.

I'm so happy for you and Zap and all the Suchards. Will there be a dogwarming party? :D

My childhood dog used to love Oscar Mayer bologna...and she used to run away all the time and I'd be chasing her through all the neighbors' yards, waving bologna to try to get her back. Good times...

I would have much preferred the salami...with some spicy mustard!!
