OK, I guess if you are worried that your selection may be read by somebody else, don't vote. If you don't care or feel it's safe enough, vote early but not often. I would ask that MMs not participate in this.

I am not agreeing or disagreeing with you.

I am more interested in why you are sure of that and why you think that is so.

Something beyond that there are more liberals here.

Why do you think that there are (if that is what you think). Not what evidence you have for what you think, but assuming what you think is true, why is that true.

Get my question?

You want me to explain to you why I think something, but not provide the evidence for what I think?

O.K.

[Bit's Dad Voice]Because I think so! That's why.[/bdv]

Seriously, why, in my opinion, are there more liberals here than conservatives? What makes this forum more likely to attract a liberal than a conservative?

No clue.

Am I missing something? I, too, appear to be disenfranchised.

Oh, hold on. Let me take off the Nitrah/Sunflower Blocker....

Seriously, I have no clue. I had no problem voting, and a bunch of others have voted as well. The poll is above all of the messages, but I'm sure you've voted in other polls and are aware of that.

If you click on the little box on the thread listing, it takes you to just below the poll. When that happens, just scroll up to find the voting.

Yes - that was the question.

I was interested in your speculation. I think I learn so much about a person from watching them speculate. I wanted to learn more about you.

You take all the fun out of answering polls. You don't even list a WGAS option. :P

I wonder if more liberals have desks jobs than conservatives have desk jobs.

I wonder if conservatives have a better work ethic and would not spend time at work on this bored.

I wonder if liberals are more likely to pursue being on a game show.

I wonder if liberals are smarter than conservatives.

the world isnt divided into liberal and conservative, muffin.it is divided into lib, cons and the Great Moderate Majority. Obviously Moderates are the smartest of the group, as we think for ourselves.
It only "seems" like there are more liberal types here, as Bush has shoved us clear thinking types to the left.

I've mentioned this article on the Bored before; it provides the clearest view I've found of how politicians should actually be classified. It is not, and does not claim to be, the ultimate model. But it is a much better one than the "left-right" Lib-Con oversimplification we still try to deal with today. If you look at Pournelle's chart (near the bottom, scroll way down) in light of the "bailout" votes, they begin to make much more sense.

I voted not voting but I really am. It's just that it's in the Canadian Federal election on Oct.14th. I've never missed voting even in Municipal elections. If you don't vote, then don't bitch later.

So you should have chosen "I'm voting for someone else"!
