4 and 0!!!

#1 Post by T_Bone0806 » Sun Sep 28, 2008 7:28 pm

On to 'Zona. That is not a gimme, but if they can win, they'll head into their bye week with a 5 and 0 record and 2 weeks to rest up before hosting the Chargers. Arizona cannot be taken lightly, though, and we'll be in THEIR house.

For now:

Are you sure a win over the Rams even counts? :P

Beast, remember John McKay's answer to the reporter's question:

"What do you think of your team's(Tampa Bay) execution?"

"I am in favor of it."
"When you argue with a fool, there are two fools in the argument."

Congratulations! :D

Wish we were joining you. :(

I dunno what we did -- I don't think we have a "curse of the Bambino" on us at Arrowhead. But maybe we do.

Continued good luck to you guys!

Until Dec. 21!

Well, the 0-16 mission may have taken a bit of a hit. ESPN's reporting that Scott Linehan will get the ax today. That'll probably fire the team up now to win at least one game.....

This is the time of year the catalogues start arriving and the TV commercials crank up in earnest. I got a steady stream of "I want that toy" "no, I don't want that one, I want THIS one instead" from her while getting the kids out the door today. After I check the weather and Mini-me checks the scores, they switch over to Nickelodeon. I'd put it on public television, but it's always something odious like Barney that early...

You should turn on VH1 Classic and get her started on the wonderful world of 80's music videos early. All of the commercials on there are either for Procter & Gamble cleaning products, or stuff Billy Mays is hawking.....

So any good follow-up stories from Mini-me's latest adventure with airline delays? Did he get to see a game, this rainy weekend?

Mets on Friday, Mets on Saturday, and Jets on Sunday. Weather delays going up on USAir on Friday, but they made it in plenty of time for the game. Just plain ol' Continental is ALWAYS delayed coming out of Newark on Sunday night, so he got in at 11 and I popped him right into bed.

The forecast was ominous, but extremely off-base. The weather was just fine all weekend.

If given a choice between New York and just about any other place on God's Green Earth, guess where I'd be going........

Well, we had plenty of rain in Upstate New York--but not the hurricane rain...

For a guaranteed win, especially if it will get us home field advantage all the way through the playoffs, I'll send cards in any amount you name . . .

I broke a cardinal rule of mine in my survivor pool this week and picked an away team. Just could not resist the Bills/Rams matchup. Everyone else in the league except for me and one other team took the Broncos visiting the other side of the show me state. If Houston could have pulled out the overtime win (which would have been likely if they had won the toss as they had scored on every possession in the second half) I would have won it all.

Thank you, Bills!!
