WWTBAM Bored

Got to the shop about 6:45 this morngin, looking for a nice, easy day.

Yeah, right.

Making the long story short (only because expounding would only make me even more furious than I already am): We have a truckload of stuff that we Really Need that we were told would be delivered today.

Whether "today" implies "anytime before midnight" is still up in the air. My last call to the ratbastards (at 7 PM) gave me somebody who told me that yes, we would still get our delivery "today". Meanwhile, here I sit.

Hopefully supper will still be edible when I get home.

I am most assuredly not a happy camper.

Good luck! Sounds like me waiting for the telephone repairman. I'm told the line will be fixed by 6:00PM Friday (this was early afternoon on Wednesday).

He finally shows up at 5:15PM Friday afternoon. Cuttting it pretty close if you ask me.

I waited until 9:30, said "enough", and headed for home...back safe and sound if somewhat exhausted.

Getting paid doesn't make up for crap like this. I like the idea of having a designated Phone Haranguer, though!
