Belated birthday wishes for Mr. Kelley and Mr. Jeemie

#1 Post by AnnieCamaro » Sat Sep 27, 2008 3:49 pm

Happy birthday (late) to Mr. MrKelly, my favorite physics teacher, and Mr. Jeemie. We accidentally forgot to say Happy Birthday on the right days. (Mr. Mr was on Wednesday, and Mr. Jee was yesterday.)

Here's my theory about why that happened, following the principles of Mr. Isaac Newton's observations of motion.

Action: Everybody read political posts and got miffed at everybody else.

Reaction: Nobody looked at the birthday list and posted good wishes to the birthday people.

Reaction to the Action of the Reaction (or as Mr. Hegel called that in a philosophical approach, the Synthesis of the Thesis and the Antithesis): I looked and I'm posting.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

/:P\

P.S. If anybody already said all this, I missed it. I used to be sick, so maybe I wasn't paying good attention. If I didn't miss it, hey, what's up, toofers?

Sorry for the oversight. I always depend on someone else to start the thread.

Hope you both had great birthdays!

Happy Birthday, Gentlemen!

I wonder if PSM will come up with cake for you guys. She always finds the best cakes.

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

I've been searching for appropriate cakes, but not doing so well.

This is for Mr K. It really is a cake!

Also Mr. Kelley doesn't have his birthday posted on Facebook, so I wasn't reminded about it.

How about this for Mr. Kelley, although it's not perfect.

It's supposed to be a mushroom cloud. The Pez dispensers on top sort of ruin it.

Thanks, folks for the birthday wishes. And cake. Cake is always good.

Even depleted uranium cake.

lb, love the cartoon. I'm gonna do like Nancy and print it out and post it, so everyone who sees it will be baffled. Although part of it's been out of date for quite a while now, thanks to the firewall.

I do have one question: is the mullet-headed kid with the F paper supposed to be anyone in particular? :)

PSM: I didn't go to great lengths to publicize my birthday, but it's on Sploofus, at least. And I only found out about yours because someone wrote on your wall about it a couple of nights before. So don't be mad -- I"m not hiding anything.

Well, heck, they're both in the same state aren't they?

At least I tried. Now he probably hates me.

Unfortunately, I don't know any of the kids in your classes, so I'll let you use your imagination....

And one of the cool things about being an amateur artist is the different funny interpretations people can get from what you tried to draw....

So that's not a mullet? Dang, and I was so sure, too....

I'm just 100% grateful that my name was spelled correctly everywhere.

Mr. Isaac Newton is CaseyGirl's favorite scientist!

Because a lot of times, gravity works in the kitchen! And other foody places! Like pickanic tables!

Especially when cereal is being poured!

OK, OK, I'll quit posting like Casey does.

Since Casey isn't a paper dog, and all we know about her birthday is that it's sometime around the end of May/first of June, I looked up her favorite scientist's birthday, thinking maybe we'd change her day from Memorial Day to whatever his is.

Ha! It would be harder to get too much farther away. Depending on which calendar you use, he was born on Dec. 25, 1642 or Jan. 4, 1643. So her birthday will stay Memorial Day.

Belated happies. We were watching football and other things that don't justify ignoring birthdays, but, you know.
Well, then

You don't see many philosophy quoting canines in these parts.....

Just Dawgs wondering what truck hit them last night. They didn't get the license number but they are sure it was an Alabama tag.
