Diabetes Update

#1 Post by Buffacuse » Fri Sep 26, 2008 6:47 pm

Down 35 lbs since January. Blood sugar averaging 108 (was 347 at January diagnosis). Waist from 42 (eek) to 37 inches.

It can be done. But, to be fair, it is my dread of going on insulin, and my overwhelming desire to avoid this, that is motivating me. That...and wanting to see my 21 month old red-headed menace walk down the aisle at both her college graduation and her wedding.

I wonder if I'm svelt enough to get past the APs...

Wonderful job!
If only more of my patients were as good as you at executing a treatment plan.

Holy Crap, Buff!

Great work!

Who cares what has motivated you - that you are motivated is the best of the best!

Keep up the good work.
