BROTHER SEBASTIAN!! I could NOT think of his name.

45. One of the founding Yippies, he was proudly clubbed on the head during the 1968 DNC, but missed out on his chance to become one of the Chicago Seven. (He had to settle for ‘unindicted co-conspirator.’)

STUART ALPERT (MED question - is this the correct spelling of his name? I always thought it was ALBERT)
You are right, it's ALBERT.

Everything on here is correct! A couple of issues relating to the form of the names, but these are all the right people.

Well done!

14. I'm amazed the Marines honored two different actors the same way. But Nabors was promoted in 2001, so Ermey is correct.

100. Sargon lived five centuries before Hammurabi, so he was the first.

Sorry about those errors.

10. is HANS JONAS

39. is DONALD J. CRAM

42. is MARJORIE HEINS

45. is tougher. PAUL KRASSNER is a possibility, but he is not on the official list of "unindicted co-conspirators." STEWART ALBERT (the spelling I found) is definitely an UCC, but not a founding member of the yippies, at least according to Wikipedia.

46. is DONNIE WAHLBERG, unless there's more than one talkative bride out there.

59. is NEVIL MASKELYNE

67. is LOREN EISELEY

88. is TROY BODIE, unless I'm reading something wrong.

89. is LEOPOLD VON RANKE

Silly me, forgetting to check if there were two different books titled "Not in Front of the Children." To eliminate any further confusion, I will say that the answer I had in mind weas DR. LAWRENCE BALTER

I've seen Stew Albert called a founding Yuppie in my researching for the clue, so I apologize for any confusion there.

Everything else is exactly what I had in mind. Good cleanup!

Needless to say, every person on here is correct. One small change will be needed to complete the puzzle, but that will work itself out; no need to worry about it now.

Go to it!

Still don't have anything that I"m convinced is the whole Tangredi. I see lots of anagrams, particularly for first names, but I think Frank just enjoys watching me trying to turn every puzzle into an anagram one. I tried to make something out fo the title, but other than books of the Bible, I wasn't coming up with anything. Here are some of my thoughts:

Max REGER + SARGON = GREER GARSON, who was nominated for 5 straight Best Actress Oscars, so 1 of 5 could refer to her (or one of those movies, if it relates to a theme.)

Cleveland ABBE + William HURT = BABE RUTH, but I can't find any of the Associated words jumping out at me for him.

SIDNEY Hillman anagrams to DISNEY, which could associate with Walt, and I guess we could use Kid ORY for Walt's brother ROY.

SADDAM anagrams to ADDAMS, and there is a Raul in the AW List.

RAMON Llull anagrams to ROMAN, which could lead to ROMAN GABRIEL, who QBed the Raiders, and Gabriel would fit the Biblical idea for a theme.

DUNCAN RENALDO played the Cisco Kid, who rode a horse named DIABLO (AWL), but can't find a pair for him.

I've got a few other tidbits, but they're not even as well-formed as these.

The word "Gospel" in the title makes me think of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John... but I'm not seeing a whole lot of connections to those names and the Associated Words.

I've also been trying to work backward with this puzzle. I've been focusing on the Associated Words and trying to think of famous people who connect to those words. If I could get a name to connect to one of our 100 answers, then we could be on the path to solving the puzzle. A lot of good names, but nothing that gets me close to the Tangredi:

666 = Anton LaVey, Marilyn Manson
Toronto = Rob Ford
Diablo = Ellen Page, Michael Cera
Walton = Richard Thomas, Michael Learned, Ralph Waite, etc.
Brooks = Madeline Kahn, Gene Wilder, Cloris Leachman, etc.
Karenina = Greta Garbo, Sophie Marceau, Jacqueline Bisset
Zombie = Andrew Lincoln
Chocolat = Joanne Harris, Juliette Binoche, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Alfred Molina
Magnificent = Yul Brynner, Eli Wallach, Robert Vaughn, etc.
Drift = Alfred Wegener
Compulsion = Meyer Levin, Dean Stockwell, Leopold & Loeb (we have a Leopold at #89, but I don't see a way to connect it here)
"[Drumpf's] name alone creates division and anger, whose words inspire dissension and hatred, and can't possibly 'Make America Great Again.'" --Kobe Bryant (1978-2020)

I think you're on the right track here. R. Lee ERMEY anagrams to Meyer.

The key is Trygve Lie. I can't think of anyone else whose name is either a "Trygve" or a "Lie," but LIE anagrams quite nicely to ELI.

Other last names than anagram to possible first names are

VEE = EVE
LANE = NEAL
RANKE = KAREN
CINK = NICK
CROY = CORY
AMIR = MIRA
MAYR = MARY

And here's the rest of it.

NEVIL (MASKELYNE) = LEVIN

So, it's the first name of one person anagramming to a last name, and the last name of a second person anagramming to a first name.

And these are two more matches.

Pastor, doesn't Scripture teach us, "The first shall be last and the last shall be first"? (Looking it up) Yes, it's in the Gospel of Matthew.

It was also directly quoted in the Nat Turner clue. (Heh, heh).

NOW is the point where I can tell you that there is one misspelling on the consolidation that will make a difference. It will work itself out.
