YAY! I followed the Snoopy method of figuring Norway for gnomes, I knew Italy (I think she's called La Beltana or something) and took a 50/50 between Japan and China since they seemed more New Years than Christmas.

ROUND THREE

CAROLING CAROLING

OK, down a bit of that spiked eggnog to fortify yourself and join in the holiday singalong.
Hope you know the words, especially since you don't hear these introductory verses all that often.
I'll give you the rare intro verse, you tell me the name of the song. 1 point for 1 correct answer,
3 points for 2 correct answers, 5 points for getting 3 right, 8 points for all 4.

1-Christmas future is far away
Christmas past is past
Christmas present is here today
Bringing joy that may last

2-The sun is shining, the grass is green
The orange and palm trees sway
There's never been such a day
In Beverly Hills, LA

3-Christmas makes you feel emotional
It may bring parties or thoughts devotional
Whatever happens or what may be,
Here is what Christmas time means to me.

4-I'm dreamin' tonight of a place I love
Even more then I usually do
And although I know it's a long road back
I promise you

So it's the only one for which "White Christmas" didn't enter my tiny brain? I'm thinking bad words that are most inappropriate for the holiday, I'll tell ya.

My mom was born on the same day as Irving Berlin. Not the same DATE, though. Ha!

The only reason I know the opening is because it's on the sheet music that you have to play through to get to the good part.

Me too -- I had that stupid "the temperature is 84 degrees" song on my brain, and it matched up with the palm trees.

T'S A SEASON OF MANY CELEBRATIONS!

As we all know, there all all kinds of holidays and celebrations at this time of year. Here are some
non-Christmas related questions. 1 point for one right, 3 points for both.

1-Hanukkah is celebrated for how many days?

2-Kwaanza is celebrated for how many days?

Dang -- in the Bible the lamp burned for eight days. I'll say eight.

2-Kwaanza is celebrated for how many days?

I'll guess six.
