Finally back! And the internet was down all day at work today, so I had to wait until I got home to check today.

Or is he your mother's ex-husband?

Thanks for the well wishes. It's my mom's ex. They were together in one form or another from when I was in 6th grade until after I got out of college. He was like a second dad to me and since my real dad passed away 3 years ago, this is just another blow. And it's just a bad time of year with too much other stuff going on. I actually took a leave of absence from work through the end of the year, I was afraid I was going to have a meltdown!

I'm quietly here still in snowy Rochester. We won't be going to Florida for the winter this year. I haven't shoveled snow for 15 years and we are expecting 3 more storms before Christmas. It was 80 degrees in Orlando today. Oh well, we are alive and somewhat healthy.

Hola. Came by because I had a moment where I was not really doing anything. I'm in Deb's hospital room. We are trying to keep family here at all hours because well, what she is going through is pretty scary and we want to be with her.

She is sleeping. We have a bunch of T-bone's tunes on her Ipod sitting in the docking station. TV isn't a great option for her but the music is pretty comforting.

She is an amazing person.

I won't be on facebook or anything similiar.

It is scary crazy what can be gleaned from such sites by nefarious people. Not to mention that unlike Vegas, what gets posted, stays posted for eternity (or a lifetime). Why in world would some folks post various photos of themselves and the like.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Hey everybody! I've been buried under a ton of work and and bad cold lately, but I'm around, if somewhat intermittently. All of you are in my thoughts, especially people who are having a hard time or know someone who is. For all the birthdays I've missed, I hope they were everything you wanted them to be.

Guten tag und Schone Urlaub fur alles hier. All is well here, glad to have the bored back, sure did miss it for those few days. Big boy arrived yesterday, little boy got into UGA for next year, parents are here for the holidays which we will spend in Tirol, Austria. HOpe you all enjoy your holidays with your families and '09 is a great year for the BBs!
