Most Georgers eventually get a hit somewhere in Madison or St. Clair Counties before very long, so let me know when that happens. Kansas City, KS is closer to me than that bill is.....

So where is Glenview really? Google Maps must be lying to me when shows a spot in O'Fallon, which appears to be about 10 miles from you on I-64.

Oh--NW of Chicago. (I hadn't bothered with the Mapquest link, because I usually like Google Maps bettter.) Nevermind!

Yeah, but saving a few mouse clicks for occasionally going to Google Maps isn't worth $10 a month. Maybe if Hank offered a "Casual Acquaintance of George" category...

Hey, it's only $7 a month....

And bringing it up reminded me that my subscription ends at the end of the year, so I just cut Hank another $84 check..... it's only 23 cents a day.... :P :P :P

Well, I don't understand that quirk with Google Maps, but I've seen it happen before. They'll display a list of options as I type in a place name and if I select an odd one instead of the one that should have been the best match, somehow that odd choice becomes "my" preferred result, no matter how many times I retry it. I mean, I could clearly see Glenview when I moved the map view up to the suburbs of Chicago...

I don't know what the record is on the site, and I'd probably have to really dig in the forums to find the answer.

Here's the first bill I came across though. Probably not the record, but only 17 months shy of the theoretical maximum since the site only went up in late December 1998....

That's pretty darn slow. How long do dollar bills last in circulation?

Depends.... I've entered a number of bills I've gotten from the bank that were printed in the 1960's.....

I bet the Mini bill from your BB batch will break the sleeper record, if it turns up at all. I'm like that....

I was going to let Spilly have the floor, but then I remembered he wasn't even born when I entered those bills.....

I'll have to find another creative excuse for why your bill disappeared.... :P :P :P :P

A hit from Columbus makes Indiana my 34th state. Go Hoosiers! I also got another hit on the Georges I spent on my summer vacation to Maine, this time from Quincy, MA.

You have entered 3,996 Bills worth $19,508
Bills with hits: 339 Total hits: 359
Hit rate: 8.48% Slugging Percentage: 8.98% (total hits/total bills)
George Score: 876.59
Your rank (based on George Score) is #3,917
(out of 45,127 current users with a George Score. [91.32 Percentile])
Your State Rank in New York is: 208 out of 8,092 [97.43]
