Yeah, the step-by-step approach is better for folks who have never entered a George before (and I presume most hits come from these people) but I don't see any reason for an experienced Georger to use that method.

When did WG get started, beast? I was thinking about that after finding the George who'd been wild for eight years, on Saturday. How close would that be to the record?

One of the new features WG has added since the upgrade last week is a new tier of bill entry called an "alternate hit". These are hits that either have been deleted for suspicion of being false or doubles, hits by people who check the box saying they don't have the bill in their possession, bills found in geocaches, etc. Anyway, these show up in black and do not get added into your official stats.... and apparently the database kept track of such "hits" for several years back, because even older entries now show up in bill reports....

Going back to last year, I've only found 4 such "black hits" so far, but one of them is a killer. It's from Stark County, IL, one of just 9 counties I still need in the state for county bingo...... Sigh!

I think black hits are visible to everyone and not just Friends of George, but I'm not sure (Guess I'll find out shortly).....

Good, they show up for everyone. Now if only there were an easy way to find out when you get one, other than signing up for email notification.....

A hit from Windsor makes Colorado my 33rd state. If only it had been entered before this person brought it home, I could have added Oregon to my state bingo list, too!
Got it in change from a casino in Oregon while I was on vacation.
I finally found another Wild George while cashiering at the book sale; this one had been in the wild for a bit over two years, since being entered in Massachusetts.

Wisconsin is becoming a pretty good state for me (#3, behind NY and PA)! Yesterday I got a second hit on a George in Wisconsin and another hit on a George that went to Wisconsin and then went south to Alabama. :)

I followed that link and got logged in as you. I had to find the actual url of that page (Which is below the hit report) and then go back and log back in as myself.....
