How do you find yourself in the standings?

It used to tell me, now it doesn't.

I am currently unhappy with Sploofus as they no longer let you use wager tokens unless you have a pay account. Don't give them to me if you're not going to let me use them!

I think they still let you use them until you reach a certain Level. Mine cut off at Level 5 (I think).

I keep hoping I'll get a Who or Where the Heck am I so I can use the 14 saved up Wager TOkens I have sitting there.

My standing does NOT show up at the bottom of the screen. Just like the post count does not show up at the bottom of our bored page. Maybe it's just my laptop...

I'm using IE 7 FWIW.

Try clicking My Sploofus, Preferences, site setting, and click the box for TQOTD standings

I choose to believe that Sploofus was created to maintain my humility. I finished 8th overall for the month of June, as I recall. (Okay, that was a distant seven places behind mrkelley, but respectable nevertheless.) I was permitted one brief, shining moment to think I had a modicum of intelligence. This month my questions arrive with instructions that say "Submit, you flaming idiot."

I submit. I know they're talking to me.

I've been using my desktop to do the questions instead of the laptop. It seems to have improved my time somewhat. Yesterday I answered in 4. something seconds, which is about my fastest time ever, I think.

I'm also pondering reading the answers first and then scan the Q..right now I'm compelled to read the whole question before looking at the answers. Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong.

Or maybe I am just really dumb.

as of 9 am pacific time 15 July 2008. Posting is early due to a prior commitment.

Rankings are approximate and reflect bbs in the top 3000 only.

Please add yourself in this thread if you have been missed. Please indicate Sploofus handle.

Please note that, as of 16 July, the standings will be posted for only the top 1500. On 21 July it will again drop, to 1000, and on 25 July it will drop to 500.

The final rankings will only for those in the top 100, as they are the only names that we can be sure Sploofus will display in subsequent months.

In the future, Sploofus rankings will commence on the 7th day of the month, or the next weekday thereafter, at the top 3000 level. No rankings will be posted on weekends.

Markers locate where the breaks are at time of posting.
