When Eileen married into Rob's Jewish family, she found out that as long as you use the same first initial, it counts! When Rose was born they went through several name possibilities. There are a few deceased Roses, Rosemarys & Rosellas in both families -- along with our youngest sister Rosemary -- so Rose was easy. She wanted to honor Grandma with a middle name -- but they thought "Rose Elizabeth" had way too much "zzzzzzz" sound for their liking! So they named her Rose Emily. And since Emily starts with E, it counts!
