I'm sorry to say I got no takers on my t-shirt offer. So I'll make it easier. The first BB™ who replies to this post and pledges to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association can have the shirt. (You don't have to say the amount.)

The shirt arrived yesterday. In addition to Vivica, Meredith and the other celebrity contestants signed it too:

As promised, I'm auctioning it on eBay, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer's Assoication. (Did you know that eBay will process the donation for you? I didn't.) All BBs™ are welcome to bid:

Cool! I hope you get some decent bids.

So is Carson's signature the one directly below the Millionaire logo? The one that seems to be spelled "Xixu Clluley"? :?

The auction is over, and a Bored Buddy™ was the winner. Another BB wanted to bid on the shirt, and he sent me a question about it last week. Unfortunately, he sent me a Bored PM, not an eBay message, and I didn't notice it was there until this morning. I replied immediately, but not in time for him to bid. So because of my eBay ineptitude, the Alzheimer's Association will get a smaller donation than they should have.

Here's an update from ABC Medianet:

"WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE" HOSTS "DEADLIEST CATCH" SKIPPERS AND MIKE ROWE FROM "DIRTY JOBS" THIS FEBRUARY
"Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," with Emmy Award-winning host Meredith Vieira, will feature some of television's most popular personalities this February, giving them the opportunity to take home $1 million for their designated charities! Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand, brothers and captains of the Time Bandit on "Deadliest Catch" will appear in episodes airing February 2 and February 3. Mike Rowe, creator, executive producer and host of "Dirty Jobs," as well as the voice of "Deadliest Catch," will appear on February 27 and February 28.

February 2 - 3, 2012: Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand, brothers and cast members from the highly-rated Discovery Channel series "Deadliest Catch," will appear as a two-person team on "Millionaire" and will donate all of their winnings to the Seattle Fishermen's Memorial. The fund is dedicated to promoting safety in the fishing fleets and easing the burdens of the families and friends of fishermen/women lost at sea. Johnathan and Andy are captains of the ship Time Bandit. Their often treacherous travels on Alaska's Bering Sea during the crab fishing season are documented for the hit television show which returns for a new season in April.

February 27 - 28, 2012: Mike Rowe, creator, executive producer and host of Discovery Channel's Emmy-nominated series "Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe," will appear as a contestant to try to raise money for the mikeroweWORKS Foundation. Formed in 2008, Rowe's website and foundation support and promote the skilled trades and serve as a "PR Campaign for Hard Work." His on-air companion for his "Millionaire" appearance was Andrew Reisinger, a mikeroweWORKS Foundation 2011 Tools Scholarship recipient. The scholarship provides funds that are used to purchase tools that the recipient may need upon graduating from trade school. Tune in to see if all of Mike Rowe's various life experiences will prepare him for his appearance as "Millionaire" contestant.

It seems ironic that the show would seek to avoid any connection with death except when there's a celebrity episode that glorifies death. "Deadliest Catch" has a history of showing episodes that feature people who recently died.

Whoop de doo.

Will they cover the Hot Podium in sludge, so that Mike Rowe feels at home? :P

Me!

I watched one of the celeb shows with Stephen when we were in AZ. Some guy named...Anthony? I think. He was fun.

I might have to check out Mike Rowe but the show airs early here and I rarely have the TV on when it airs, unless I'm "watching" NFL Replay with my fractured attention span...
Huh? What?
