That was uncharacteristically vague.

What other reasons?
The Fisk story. The Iwo Jima story. The paraleipsis smackdown. Tackle football for fun. I would have missed all of that if I'd just appreciated the picture on FB.

I guess you aren't a fan of rainbow donkeys......

And here I thought it was a rainbow cow.

No cow would risk getting their rainbow udders caught on something pointy like that....

Would you believe that (rainbow udders) isn't even a Googlewhack?

Ok. I had to google it and clicked on images. Some people have too much fun with photoshop.

It's funny/sad how unartistic I am. When Pea didn't understand what I meant, I typed out the first few things that came to mind. I'm glad that avatars exist, and you and uly and Snaxx have really livened up the Bored with them. But my mind is so verbal, I don't remember pictures very well. Years from now, if the subject of the Washington Monument comes up, or rainbows, I'll remember the concept of the rainbow atop the Monument, but I won't remember the actual pic.

But will you remember this avatar?
Maybe I'd remember it if rainbow cow were on top of the Washington Monument.

For the hell of it, I ran "Rainbow Donkey" through Google images yesterday, and was shocked to see it isn't even a phrase original to this Bored....

The uly effect strikes again. You don't want to know what the original avatar was that prompted that question....

Found it!

I hope not . . .

I think it was born that way, just like the one jumping over the Washington Monument with a squirrel for a jockey.
