WIthout looking at the links, I'm going to guess Camp Grenada and Atomic Dong....

Do you have a separate listing for how many points everybody got from the matching song and contributor part? Reading the answers I didn't think that I did too well on that, but I got pretty good points for knowing hardly any of the songs, so maybe I was better than I thought.

You are correct on the runner up, but incorrect on the SRA winner....

I don't have who got the most matches right handy (I did good enough to count points while trying to read the answers), but I think you, mini and Estonut were the only ones to get more than a handful of BB's right....

Hey! Everybody is allowed a second favorite team in case your own team goes out before the playoffs.

When you're married, you can pick your spouse's team as your second favorite, no questions asked. My second favorite teams are all from Pittsburgh, except for the NBA, and da Burgh doesn't have a team, so for the NBA it's Phoenix, where my brother lives. And my driving role model too.

KIDDING!! Barkley is not my role model for anything, especially driving.

When I saw which lyrics you picked for my song, I figured a bunch of people would give my song to Melo. Then I saw an REM song, and I figured people who knew me would assign that to me. I tried steering Sirge towards the sunshine of The Remedy before, and it hasn't worked yet, so good luck to Chuck and Co with that project....

Yay for Fanny giving you Boomtown Rats! If Cocaine had shown up on the list, or Joey hadn't, I'd have been torn.

And, Joey, Concrete Blonde has a song that goes something like "tomorrow Wendy's gonna die," so they've got your number and know what you're planning... :P
I like Jason Mraz, but I don't know that song. I'm going to have to give it a listen.

I put Boomtown Rats as a joke, which is why I gave him four songs total, I didn't think he'd actually use it!

I blasted The Remedy repeatedly while cleaning the pantry yesterday, because it was a cruddy rainy day and it made me feel better. Steve dragged Erin out of my hair and took her with him while Mini-me got a haircut and new shoes (the kid now officially has bigger feet than I do. I could wear his shoes when he was in third grade, and now he jumped a size and a half. I bet he'll be at least 6' 3" when he finishes growing...) and she came home with sparkly pink shoes and Tinkerbell fairy wings. That's the kind of stuff daddies buy. I got her actual real clothes when we shopped.

John Mayer wishes he were Jason Mraz. Jason Mraz wishes he were Rufus Wainwright. Rufus Wainwright wishes they'd play him on the radio like those other two guys....

I was actually refreshing Vern's profile every 10 seconds watching it be created....

Watching the avatar pop up about killed me. But of course, it HAD to be that.....

Now I can go to bed.....

Well, I HAD planned to deliver my "muchas graciases" in the Final Scores thread, but since you made it a point to give out points for it while scoring Friday's game, I don't think I will now. So there.

Oh hell, I can't be ungrateful even if I tried. So danke schoen, domo arigato, merci, grazie, takk, spasibo, kiitos, and thanks!

Wow, the coveted Shithouse Rats Award. This is the proudest moment of my life. (Sad, isn't it?)

Great job on this year's game, LB. You came up with some very clever themes and displayed a wide range of music knowledge (or at least wider than mine).

Linda Perry has written a lot of Pink's songs and I know she produced the first album at least. And, hey, I LOVE What's Up! Dumb title but they wouldn't let them use What's Going On.
Linda Perry also wrote "Beautiful," which Christina Aguilera performed on SNL, Letterman or Conan. It was, by far, the best performance by CA that I've ever seen.

Let's do it right

4. The Telex machine is kept so clean
And it types to a waiting world
And mother feels so shocked
Father's world is rocked
And their thoughts turn to their own little girl

Barking like a dog, howling at the moon

You say you want your freedom
Well who am I to keep you down

9. Everybody wants respect, just a little bit
And everybody needs a chance once in a while
Everybody wants to be...

Our kids are getting worse
They won't obey their parents
They just want to fart and curse!
