I did that with one strap of Georges in December, but that seems like bending the rules about normal distribution of currency to me.
I would say it is still within the normal distribution. You still spend cash where you normally would. Just because now you are foisting a stack of marked Georges on the merchant doesn't change that fact.

I have gone the band of ones route only once. I still spent other bills than ones, but I did carry more ones than usual until they were gone.
If you carried and spent more ones than usual, it is not "normal distribution"...

Well, WG uses the phrase "Natural Distribution" instead, but this practice would fall within the site's definition:
In general, the Where's George? definition of natural and geographic circulation is spending your cash in the course of any normal transaction with any unknown person/entity.

The distribution doesn't matter much when the procurement is not normal.

Again, from the site:
#3 Bill Acquisition
There are many ways to acquire bills for entry into Where's George?. Many people go to a bank and request packs of new/uncirculated bills/notes to enter into the website. This is an acceptable method of acquisition of bills.

So, is grabbing a couple of stacks of bills from the BEP an acceptable method of acquisition?
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

Unless they're handing those out as free samples, I think that's prohibited by the rules:

This is an acceptable method of acquisition of bills. Some people gather and enter and then return all the bills of their spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend/family members. This is also acceptable, assuming that the spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend/family member doesn't turn around and enter the same bills. Stealing from people and/or robbing a bank is NOT an acceptable method of acquiring bills.
Thank a lawyer for having to put something like that in there! :P

But I wouldn't be stealing from individual people (maybe The People), or robbing a bank, so what would be the problem?

You guys reminded me.... I had a WG-stamped bill that I thought I'd spent weeks ago, but I found it in the bottom of my purse.

Is that your first 4 hitter? That's pretty good for a bill that you only entered 4 months ago....

It also looks like it's going around in a circle, which is what my one and only 6 hitter started to do before it apparently got lost forever.....

Nice! And it's already visited four different states!

My Georges must have exhausted themselves on Tuesday. Or else they've all been watching the basketball games.

(I've never seen the gym as empty as it was this morning. Everyone must have stayed up last for the game, last night!)

I think I'd be a successful Georger with my travels, but I rarely use cash to buy stuff. Just in casinos, and that's about twice a year. And maybe BK 5 times a year. Gotta rack up the miles the credit card companies are doling out!
