Still no luck yet.

Definitely not SpacemanSpiff as it predates his registration on this version of the Bored.

Uh oh, now I am thinking I filed it under the wrong person. I may have just looked at the Calvin and Hobbes dancing scene and instinctively thought "this has to be SC." If not, I am at a loss as to who it is.

Snaxx, I suppose that is theoretically possible, because I've always loved the joy that this drawing illustrates. I don't specifically remember using it, though, and I don't have an easy way to check to see if it's among the photos stored only on my previous computer. I did look at my Photobucket account, and it's not stored there, but that means very little.

Spoiler
We have two answers of Spaceman Spiff, and SpacemanSpiff-Calvin&Hobbes rings a bell. It shows that he registered here as SS in July 2009 but I know he was associated with the prior Boreds and am sure he predates me. Perhaps he was here before and re-registered. Maybe the admins or SS himself might help.

Since Spaceman Spiff was a recurring fantasy character in the Calvin & Hobbes strip (the demise of which I am STILL mourning), it's a pretty good guess.

OMG!!!! You are right!!! Sliver did have that avatar up for a time....
I knew I remembered it, and it had to be a somewhat active poster (or at least one I paid a lot of attention to), but she was totally off my radar (My first guess would have been KT.... I had already dismissed Spiff).....

Re: Bored Past Avatars
I had almost forgotten where the character SS came from; that is the reason for my unsure reaction to the guesses of SS. Sometime during the day at work it hit me that SS being the character from C&H was a primetime BAM question, but I could not find it in the transcripts presumably because it predated ArtinMA.
