I managed to get the day off Monday and will be taking the test (again). Not that it will do me any good. I haven't fixed the little problem that I know has stopped me in the past from getting through the interview process.

Can you turn "the little problem" into a hook? If it's something that can be fixed, use fixing "that" as the answer to the question about what you would do with your winnings from the show. If it's not fixable, perhaps you can find a way to make a joke of it. For example, if you were born without thumbs, you could hold up your hands and say, "I knew I'd pass the test, because I can count all the way to eight" If you had no teeth, you could smile broadly and say, "I want to be on the show to prove that toothless people can be smart, too." Whatever it is, if it is noticeable, try to use it as a way to show off your personality and make yourself more memorable.

I played hockey for 30 years and carry the "badge of honor" that a lot of players have. About five or six years ago, a lady that comes on the boat had a relative visiting here and he worked on game shows back in the early 80's. She told him that I was trying to get on Millinoaire and kept passing the test, but was never chosen to be on the show. He was the one that told me reason of the snub. He told me that if I were to change it, with the way I run a crap game, I had a better than normal chance to get the call. When I have the funds to get it done, I don't have the time. when I have the time, I don't have the money.

I will go anyway, but it will be, for the most part, to see if I can still pass the test.

Congratulations Vet, does this mean that the previous speculation about the new rules is wrong? There was a string earlier where some folks seemed to think that the new language in the rules precluded people from participating in the Bored if they were contestants. I thought this is why we haven't heard from MRooney for a while.

I got the call Monday, I waited to clear it before announcing it. I was told it was OK as long as I divulged no details. I'll let you guys know the airdate once I know, but otherwise you won't hear anymore from me on the matter until after it airs.
