I believe he used exactly the same words about Janet the Duck.
Blame that on a limited vocabulary.

I suspect the spud was a secondary component behind the motivation for this photo...

I can't tell you how many time I spent 45 minutes to 2 hours working through a TR QoD, only to wind up with zero points because I got one part wrong.

It was frustrating, but it made me (and I believe all who played) better Googlers.

Ah, TR's infamous "Grand Slam" QoD from early September of 2000.....my big moment in the QoD spotlight. People literally spent hours Googling that one, but in the end, there were exactly 10 points awarded, and they all went to me, hehe. 8)

I'm too lazy to go looking for it, but I'm sure I remember lb13 archiving that question somewhere.

I am not googling, I am playing with my knowledge "as is" just for the practice. I am not worried about the points.

Subject: Question of the Day (PM) -- 8/28/00 (Monday afternoon)

This morning's question was easy, so . . . you know what that
means!

This afternoon's question is "more challenging."

Good luck 2 Ali, and mayo the best Olympian float like a
Parkay fly and Gordon Matthew Sumner like ABC.

The following question involves arranging the given items in
the order specified. It is similar to WWTBAM Round 1,
Round 2, and FF Questions, except that there are six items,
rather than four.

Put the following numbers in decending order (i.e., from
largest to smallest):

A. The number of grand slam homeruns (career, regular
season, major league; don't get too cute, dammit!) hit by
the baseball player whose name is most commonly associated
with the incurable disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

B. The number of winning tricks constituting a grand slam
in bridge.

C. The total number of Grand Slam championships won by
Martina Navratalova in her career (so far).

D. The number of Grammy Awards won by Sir Georg Solti
(aka "the Grammy Slammer") in his lifetime.

E. The number of dollars paid by Buddy Holly for his ticket
on that fateful final flight in February of Fifty-Nine (which
ended with a tragically grand slam).

F. The number of days between CBS' original telecasts of
the first and last episodes of the short-lived TV series
"Grand Slam" (which starred the grand [cough, gag, cough]
john Schneider as "Hardball").
