I"m just relieved that this wasn't some kind of National Enquirer thing, that there was some germ of truth to the rumor, and that the actual truth is not only not unusual, but not disqualifying.

Wasn't trying to be P/E, although my family has certainly prepared me for such. The story I read said that some of the details hd been leaked to some people, and that some of those some people then jumped to the conclusion that Sarah was actually the grandma rather than the ma, and so the campaign came out with everything, prolly sooner than they wanted to, just to make sure the truth was out.

I was just relieved that people, even rabid left-wing bloggers, weren't just making up crazy shit out o whole cloth. That would have stunk of Bush-Rove 2000 in South Carolina.
